Next-Gen Mobility Systems

Graduate project in collaboration with General Motors, envisioning the truck experience in 2030.

Concept Designs

Working with General Motors, we focused on the overlanding community, specifically how convoy crews coordinate, navigate, and make decisions together on technical terrain where one wrong call can damage a vehicle or leave someone stranded.

The result was an expedition companion for the GMC Canyon AT4X that keeps your convoy connected, helps your crew tackle obstacles together, and makes sure nobody gets left behind.

I led end-to-end discovery and UI execution, specifically owning the TrailVision experience, as part of a team of three.

Features

01.

TrailLink

A connected convoy system bridging radio, OnStar, and Bluetooth.

02.

TrailVision

An AI-guided LiDAR tool that reads the trail and coaches drivers through it in real time.

03.

Camera Sharing

Allows crew members see each other's vehicle views to navigate obstacles together.

First time designing within Automotive UX showed me constraints I hadn't designed for before, such as physical ergonomics, eyes-off-screen time, voice interaction. The same design instincts apply, but the context shifts everything about how you apply them.
